Bhumi Dahya has had the privilege of working alongside Ms. Jones for several years, during which Bhumi has gained invaluable experience and expertise. Holding dual master’s degrees in Legal Studies and Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Bhumi brings a comprehensive understanding of legal principles and conflict resolution strategies to our team’s efforts.
Grant Jones is a third-year law student at Santa Clara University, specializing in real estate law. He holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California, where he also played football. Grant has significant experience in the real estate sector as a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson and has spent four years at the real estate law firm, Broker Risk Management, in Danville, California. His goal is to become a real estate trial attorney, leveraging his comprehensive knowledge and industry connections to provide exceptional service to his clients.
Ms. Jones graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration in 1987 and Juris Doctor in 1990. She practiced law with Bowles & Verna for 3 years where she focused on representing real estate brokerages including Prudential. In 1993, she worked at Sedgwick, Detert Moran & Arnold where she continued to represent real estate brokerages, but also represented large insurance companies in bad faith cases, financial institutions, franchisors and other large companies in multi-million dollar actions. In 1990, she formed the Law Offices of Shannon B. Jones, which became Shannon B. Jones Law Group, Inc. In 2022, she became a partner in Broker Risk Management and merged the Law Group into another law firm.
